How do you know if you have bed bugs?
- Teeth impressions
You may not notice the bites right away, or you may mistake them for mosquitoes at first. They usually appear in small groups or in a straight line on areas of the body that are exposed at night. Normally, these small bites are the first sign that you have an infestation. - Where they hide
Bedbugs are more difficult to eradicate because they can hide in fabrics, mattresses, clothing and interior walls. While most commonly found in bedrooms, their ability to live for weeks to months after feeding may allow them to move into adjoining rooms or apartments. - Don't panic... Not yet
While the bugs themselves can be difficult to see and identify, if you see one, they may not be bed bugs. Bed bugs look almost identical to the harmless carpet beetle with small, flat oval bodies about the size of an apple seed.
